Wherefore art thou… err… Juliet? - Spoiler Alert

JulietWell, last week’s episode was bland and well, uneventful.  Yes, it was all about Juliet and her probs being everyone’s object of lust.  It gets old.  And Ben, being after Juliet… please, he is too perfect, too Machiavelli, to fall for her!  He is an asexual perfect being.  Why is everyone after her? ‘Cause she is blue eyed and blond?  Having three love interests on the island is a bit much!  Please.  She is not that interesting… always looking like she is about to cry (Exhibit A)… she needs to grow a backbone.

And the end, with that kiss with Jack, no chemistry whatsoever!! Bad Bad Bad Writers!!  Go back and write me something Lost worthy!  Stop with this melodramatic crap!  If I wanted melodrama, I would be watching a soap!  In a nutshell, blah blah blah, Ben lusts for Juliet… blah blah blah, Naomi’s “others” save the island… blah blah blah, my hero who is now an antihero and is pissing me off kisses Juliet… and no, I did not like Jack’s character in Vantage Point! Stop ruining a good thing HOLLYWOOD! There.

Who is your Constant? - Spoiler Alert

Desmond and Penny Desmond’s constant was, of course, the love of his life, Penny dear. I hope my Norwegian constant remembers to pick up the phone when I call him after I have been on twilight zone island (PR) for some time :) Well, last week’s episode was grand… reminiscent of a great X-files episode.

I liked that it was Desmond-centric, and yes, he looked oh so delicious in uniform. I can say that the whole concept was not new, going back and forth in time, finding someone then and now, and connecting with that person again… but it was well done, and yes I felt for him, I did not want Desmond little brain to fry :(  When that creepy communications guy plopped dead, I was scared for Desmond… with this show you never know, they kill people left and right… they killed Mr. Eko and he was badass :(  He was Locke’s yang and his past story was pretty awesomely scripted… I miss you Mr. Eko and your big stick :P

Desmond could not die because he has to finally give Penny’s dear ol’ Dad his comeuppance. Well, as you may have remembered, Penny’s Dad, Uncle Scrooge McDuck, of course, wants his daughter to marry somebody of her class… Desmond need not apply. Rich Daddy tried to get rid of Desmond and well, finally got his wish when Desmond went adrift at sea…

Remember, if Desmond is rescued he is still not one of the Oceanic 6 because he was not in the plane… so for a recount: Oceanic 6 so far: Jack, Kate, Hurley, Aaron, Sayid, and ?

Who is the last of the Oceanic 6? Will Desmond and Penny be finally reunited? Is the scientist guy going to be able to finally figure out what is going on time-wise on the island? Where the hell is Walt!? Stay tuned!

Who’s my Baby’s Daddy? - Spoiler Alert

Who is this baby?Well, apparently NOT Sawyer (that would be an awesome looking kid), or Jack (not too shabby either), for that matter.  This last Lost episode was a great disappointment.  Kate was off her game for some reason and acted flat the whole way through the episode.  I did not feel sympathy, empathy, or care for her or the turmoil she was going through…

The whole not wanting to be pregnant was stupid, ’cause it is not the first time she has gotten it on (Sawyer in the polar bear cage with the fish biscuits, *growl*) and did not think of the consequences.  Why worry now?  Booty calls count lady!

About the trial, I can only say, that money = access = freedom.  The whole Jack not wanting to be with Kate and the baby was sad… but why?  Hmm…

Locke again proved to be the biggest badass of them all!  Yes, I will bite down on the grenade Mr. Locke, Sir.  Boom!!!

The end was a surprise, yes, but it was OK since the timing was off on them getting rescued and the baby born (it should have been tiny)… and when they showed him all big, I was WHOA!  What have they been feeding this kid!  He is almost a grown up!  So the end made sense and well, leaves us with even more questions… Hmm…

I cannot wait for the next episode, which is a Desmond-centric (Desmond is a hottie… he can see into the future and has that cool accent), and see who is the guy they (some “others,” maybe Naomi’s?) have locked up in the ship?  A previous survivor? One of Ben’s “others”?  One of their shipmates that has gotten cabin fever? Or some random crazy person…

Tune in!
