Well, last weeks episode was more like a bad episode of  ER (sans Carter) than anything else.  And yes, like ER today, it was lame-ass.  We got to see sharp instruments, some fake blood, and a lot of squirming…  A la Fight Club: “I am Jack’s Appendix, I burst, I kill Jack.”  Well Jack can’t die… ‘ cause he is in the flash-forwards.  In this episode, there was a teary-eyed lookin’ Juliet trying to remember how to do the simple appendectomy and, of course, our hero who-knows-no-pain Jack that wants to be awake during the surgery while Kate holds a mirror so he can “supervise,” what a micro-manager!!!  Just let Juliet do the surgery she is a damn doctor!!

Well, the rest of the episode was a flash-forward of Jack and Kate’s perfect life far away from the hell-island and well it all turns to crap when Kate has to do something-something for Sawyer and Jack’s jealousy and the ghost of his dead father creep in. 

In the end, we got to know why Aaron was without-mother and was illegally adopted by Kate and how Jack’s Dad’s Ghost sure gets around.  He must have a lot of frequent flier miles… 

Yes, Ben is creepy and would sell his mother to the devil.  I felt sad for his “daughter,” she was just a pawn, or was she?  Hmmm… Well, Ben is not only creepy, but is badass with a rod.  Poor Sayid :(  That is why he will become Ben’s bitch!  All is explained.  Revenge is the ultimate driving force. 

About the whole mercenary thing… I only have to say that the body count is increasing… I want numbers of how many are left!!! Poor extras!  They don’t even let them have a speaking part.

I want a black smoke monster!!  Mommy, I want one!! One that I can send out to kill the undesirables at a whim!! Go black smoke monster… it’s your birthday!! Yays!  

Hurley, Locke, and Ben are going to see the wizard… I hope he finally steps out from behind the curtain and reveals himself… That would be awesome!

Well, the “Michael, aka Kevin Johnson” episode pissed me off so much that I refused to comment on it until now.  I was extremely disappointed that I could not see Walt (he’s in his 50’s by now) and that Grandma had a problem with the whole coming back from the dead situation.  I also was angry at the whole can’t kill yourself thing because “the island doesn’t let ya!” WTF?  I did not like that they made Tom gay to show that outside of the island he can live in bountiful excess and have whatever he desires… they showed his gay relationship as something he can’t have on the island… like gays are forbidden at the “Others” camp.  Again, WTF! 

I did not feel sorry for Michael and his guilty conscience, still I did not want him to die because I want Walt back!  He was an interesting character that had a connection to the island and to Locke.  Anything Locke related has my undivided attention.  The characters in the freighter are bland, what happened with the casting?  And I hope they resurrect Danielle!!! She was a great character and badass… and just offing her like that… is idiotic.  BRING HER BACK!!!
